Ride for PTSD

Ride Details

About the Ride

More than 200,000 motorcyclists around the nation are expected to take to the highways on June 9, 2012 in an effort to raise money to help US Veterans suffering from post-traumatic-stress-disorder (PTSD).
The 1st annual Soldiers Ride for Rehab is the ultimate one-day motorcycle ride honoring our men and women of service. Each state will have its individual stopping and starting points with participating venues for riders.
Registration for riders is $25 per bike/$35 with a passenger and includes an event t-shirt and lunch. Proceeds from the event benefit the National Veterans Wellness & Healing Center in Angel Fire, New Mexico. This non-profit provides week-long retreats for Veterans and their significant others who have been diagnosed with PTSD. Post-Traumatic-Stress-Disorder is a mental health problem that can occur after someone goes through a traumatic event like war, assault, or disaster.
