a nice ride through brech on the return trip home

this pass is where the leadville mine is located and once upon a time the most thriving place in colorado

I like this pass not just because the winding road to get there but it is the site of a memorial to the 10th mountain infantry division

came down the back side of loveland pass and headed back to the interstate for this one then on to highway 24 and around another mountain

first pass of the day.  windy as all get out.

My best friend, Jamie and I are riding the horse to Niagara falls to get married in Sept.  We will be catching the last weekend of Harleys 110th anniv. party along the way.

Rode the horse with my honey over six 10k plus foot passes on saturday.  A beautiful ride through the mountains if there was one.  pictures to follow. just under 300 miles and a nice lunch in Brechinridge
