I said Zipper is not sounding right and he's not running right and he's pushing blue but all the mechanic heard was blah blah blah she's got big boops blah blah blah. That's when I stepped into world of wrenching which is an forever learning thang. 

funny the difference an style in air cleaner can make eh. This is my 1978, 74 ci shovelhead with an S & S aircleaner. Also running straight pipes on him. Changed out stock tank for fatbobs and the frontend is four over. and obviously has custom paint.

ok so I obviously left home in too much of a hurry for this road trip from the Island to Northern Alberta. I grab a new boot and an old boot and didn't notice til I was well on my way. hahaha

We gathered from many different Canadian and Northern U.S.A. points to begin the journey to Co. Not everyone could do the whole trip but others were to join along the way. 

Collectively we raised $20,055.00  thru the Conga III ride and events. Thanx to Flo for organizing it and continuing to do so. 

Entered the ole shovelhead into the show & shine for the Conga III a Breast Cancer Ride fundraiser he took 2nd place. Woot Woot

This run started over 25+ years ago in memory for members of the Bounty Hunters MC who had passed after the club dissolved the ride continues in memory of all our fallen brothers and sisters. 

just a quick ride to check out a couple markets, have a visit with my brother up Island and then toodle home.

blow off steam

It's been awhile since I pulled the ole shovelhead out for an adventure. It's his turn I think as the Heritage has been taking center stage since I got him. This route is a pit stop alot to visit family and friends. Going to plan a couple weeks for this one. Looking forward to seeing those I haven't seen for years. 

An Island Ride and then some

An extended route on my annual trek home to Ab to my parents graveside. Going to head to Winnepeg to visit a friend then down to Montana to meet extended family returning via Omak to visit with a road sister and then home. This is hopefully the first several trips this year, I'm not getting any younger that's for sure.
